CHAD

Chad is our male kunekune pig.

(pronounced koonee koonee)

Kunekunes were nearly extinct in the late 70s but have since made a comeback thanks to a couple guys from New Zealand.  This breed is known for their docile and friendly nature.  Unlike most other pigs they love to graze on lush green grass.

Chad is new to the farm and is still getting used to his new home.  He likes to keep us on our toes and make a run for the un-fenced area behind us whenever he can.

He was born in April of 2021 and will father piglets with Blossom when he is old enough.
